With Document, R.E.M. crystalise their sound and sharpen their lyrics, while retaining much of their original mystique. This is certainly the most accessible of their first five albums with clear inventive arrangements and upfront bold lyrics. R.E.M. fans could now spend their time trying to work out the song's meanings rather than deciphering the blurred vocals of old! There are poppy and accessible songs like "It's The End Of The World". On the other hand, we have songs like "Fireplace" that bring new and exciting elements into their sound. 

  • Grading  (scale: NM > EX > VG+ > VG > Good > Poor)

Vinyl: Near Mint. Looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time. The finish is shiny, with no visible defects.The labels are superb, clean and bright without marks. Spindle shows no sign of wear. And the vinyl is not warped.
