Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of R.E.M.'s major label debut, and sixth LP overall, released in 1988. The record features a mix of rock and folk, highlighted by the group's second top 10 hit, "Stand." The textured jacket looks fine overall: it has a few small tears on the spine (see photo), wear on the bottom seam, and a little light warping and staining (from water?) in one bottom corner, but is otherwise close to pristine (EX-). The disc is clean with a few fingerprints and some light scuffing, and it plays with some light surface noise (EX). The record comes with a custom inner sleeve (VG+: bottom seam slightly split, rippling and creasing).
I’m helping a friend sell his personal collection. I have play graded (spot checked) discs. The jackets will be shipped in plastic sleeves with the discs removed from them.
