REM Monster 2LP 2019 Craft EU Blue Cover 25th Anniversary Remix NM Frequency Kenneth
This is the 2019 25th Anniversary Remix edition of Monster by R.E.M., issued by Craft Recordings and pressed on 180-gram vinyl.
Features the hit single “What’s The Frequency, Kenneth?” along with “Bang and Blame,” “Strange Currencies,” and “Crush With Eyeliner.” Originally released in 1994, Monster marked a louder and more guitar-driven shift for the band following the success of Automatic for the People. The album blends distorted glam-influenced guitars with alternative rock energy and became one of the defining releases of mid-1990s alternative rock.
This edition was released in 2019 by Craft Recordings as part of the 25th anniversary campaign and presents the album in a newly remixed form overseen by original producer Scott Litt. The remix provides a cleaner, more detailed presentation of the original recordings while retaining the raw guitar-heavy character of the original album. This copy is the EU pressing identifiable by the blue cover variant and includes the full double-LP remix configuration.
