I bought this 1983. Looking online I can’t quite figure out if this counts as a first pressing or not. I see various versions with “R” and other letters on the labels, and some without. Either way, I bought this debut album of R.E.M. because I heard the band was great. It comes with the original inner sleeve.

"R" at bottom of label under IRS. Original inner sleeve.
