TU MI DICI / TANTI FRUTTI ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST TV single by MARIPOSA aka REMIGIO DUCROS & DANIELA CASA. Original Italian pressing on the VANILLA label (VA 018), from 1978. Superb Italian soundtrack with colourful and creative arrangements. Mood music from an obscure RAI television programme called I Regali Della Natura (a show for kids with an educational 'nature' theme). A beautiful double-sider featuring a groovy children's vocal group, led by the Italian Library dream team, recording under a pseudonym. The TU MI DICI theme is Brazilian influenced, soft funk cum hippie sunshine pop with kids singing over samba rhythms with fender rhodes e-piano vamps. Lovely vocals by Daniela Casa with counterpoint male scat harmony too. Great for DJs with big appeal to certain Japanese collectors as it sounds like a missing theme from the brilliant La Goccia D'Aqua Lp. More mellow lounge with cute kiddie voices on the TANTI FRUTTI side. Shades of the Franco Godi advertising / product placement sound on this Sigla TV theme. Fabulous sleeve artwork (Remigio Ducros is the guy on the sleeve to the left of the ever androgynous, Daniela Casa ;) Rare OST 45!!! 

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition with a few hairlines and faint scuffs from sleeve removal. Top production sound. Some light surface noises. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with some ring creasing / ring dirt marks and general creasing from storage. Small tear / deletion cut with wear to bottom spine side area. Some corner and edge wear, in places. Rare OST 45!!!
