R.E.M. Monster 12-Inch Vinyl LP Promo + Press Kit: Band Bio & Photo

Promo pressings are generally made prior to those sold in record stores so that they can be shipped out to reviewers in advance of the record's release to get reviews in publications by the street date. This album was sent to me for just that reason, but I never played it because I had received the CD version of the album a few days earlier. 


The press kit is the original one I received with the vinyl release, three pages (two front and back, one front) with a photo of the four-piece band shot by Keith Carter.


The album is still sealed in the original shrink wrap.


Under the shrink wrap on the back cover a sticker has been placed over the original UPC (can only make out 0 422 . . .) with a new UPC (0 93624 57401 9). Spine reads catalogue # 9-45740-1.


The album does not have any cuts or stamps to mark it as a promo.


ENVIRONMENT: This item has been stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home under climate-controlled conditions since I first purchased or received it.
