The third step in the seven step Reverend Bizarre vinyl program is the world premiere of this album in standalone format. The band's original plan was to release these seven tracks as an extended EP titled "Reverend Bizarre Blesses You With Fire", but fate and Spinefarm had other things in store for this material. And eventually it came to pass that the seven tracks were released on a bonus CD titled "Return to the Rectory" with the CD reissue of the band's first album "In The Rectory", which was released on vinyl last year.
Now, for the first time in human history, Return To The Rectory is available on its own and on vinyl. The Svart vinyl edition is a double vinyl - available on black and transparent magenta vinyl - wrapped in a thick foil-stamped gatefold cover featuring the Goya painting "Aquelarre". The package also features a large 12 page booklet including unseen material from the era.
