Description
- A mono, 33 1/3 rpm, vinyl LP, "Revolver" by The Beatles
- Released in 1966 (on Parlophone in the UK) this is a Canadian release on Capital Records.
- This is The Beatles' 7th studio album. Recorded between April and June, 1966 and released in August, 1966'
- It was recorded at EMI Studios, London (Abbey Road) - i.e as stated on the label (Recorded In England)
- Produced by George Martin
- The band is, of course:- John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Unusually, for The Beatles, two further musicians are credited on the sleeve's track listing - Alan Civil (french horn), on 'For No One' and Anil Bhagwat (tabla) on 'Love To You'.
- Cover:
- The front cover is from a design by Klaus Voorman. Slightly undersized, it has been pasted onto the sleeve. This leaves a small, white border top and bottom. The top border has 'File Under. The Beatles' and the catalogue number printed on the right side.
- The back cover has a full track listing, and credits.
- The photo of the band on the back cover is by Robert Whitaker.
- 'Prepared for release in the USA by Bill Miller'
- Printed in Canada.
- Plain, white paper, die-cut, inner sleeve (probably not the original)
- Black labels with a 'rainbow' ring.
- 'Monaural'
- 'Made in Canada by Capital Records (Canada) Ltd.
- Track 4, side 1 duration is listed on the label but not on the jacket.

- All tracks were written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, apart from 'Taxman', 'Love To You' and 'I Want To Tell You', all written by George Harrison.
- Condition
- The vinyl is G+, (visually graded) with some faint scratches on both sides. The name 'Merrett' has been written in biro on the 'rainbow' ring on side 2 (see photos).
- The sleeve is G+, with some light edge wear. The name 'Merrett' appears again on the upper border on the front cover (see photos)
- The inner sleeve is in good condition with no damage or marks, with just some light creasing
