Description
Selling my “Revolver” 12” Stereo Vinyl LP by The Beatles. This pressing was done in 1966, which is when it was bought new.
There is an unusual Mis-Labelling Issue
Label on side 1 - has code YEX.605
But the Runout on side 1 is stamped YEX 606-1 with G O and 2Label on side 2 - has code YEX.606
But the Runout on side 2 is stamped YEX 605-1 with R D and 2
*On playing it turns out “The Labels Are On The Wrong Sides”
There is also a Mis-Print
Side 1, Track 4 on the Album Cover states “Dr. Robert”.
Side 1, Track 4 on the Record Label states “Doctor Robert”.
Final point of note
There is an “Embossed K T stamp on the Side 1 Label” next to the spindle hole, which I believe is the relevant Tax Code for the time.
I am not an expert, just a very long time fan of vinyl music and not sure of the official terms for grading records. So I am including photo’s to show condition. I can confirm that there are nominal scuffs to both sides of the actual record surface. I have played both sides through and it plays very well with no pops, crackles or jumps - apart from Track 5 on Side 1 “Here, There and Everywhere and there are a couple of tiny click sounds. Following advice, I have not attempted to correct or disguise any original wear and tear to the cover or sleeve.
