ALIEN BOX SET - PROMO ONLY SET OF 2 X 7" SINGLES + PRESS ITEMS IN BOX ALIEN RECORDS - ALIEN 11 & ALIEN 12 - UK 1980 - 2 X 7" SINGLES IN PLAIN SLEEVES WITH 'BOX' ADDED ABOVE CODES, WITH PRESS RELEASE AND REXY PROMO PHOTO RECORD 1 - ALIEN 11 - COLOUR VISION - UNTIL TOMORROW / WAITING INTO ETERNITY RECORD 2 - ALIEN 12 - REXY - (DON'T) TURN ME AWAY / REXY'S RUSSIAN BLUES Super scarce promotional box set from 1980 by Alien Records to promote their first two 7" releases by Rexy and Colour Vision. The press release says that it would be a limited edition of 3,000 but I doubt that these are more than a handful as I have only this and one more copy of this in all my years of collecting. The 2 singles are rare themselves, especially the Rexy one which is an excellent electro synth funk/soul one, and although they are both the same as the standard issues, they carry a hand-written 'box' about the codes on labels indicating that these are the box-set editions. Really hard to find promotional item by a collectable independent label of the early '80s. A great punk new wave collectable from the late '70s and early '80s era - all in nice condition. CONDITION (I don't use higher than ex/ex) sleeves: plain sleeves ex vinyl: both ex press release and photo: both ex box set: vg+ (with a spine split in one of the corners) P&P registered (with insurance) GBP17.50 in Europe / GBP19.50 for all other countries * I'm a collector myself so strict packing policies applied * I combine shipping for multiple items - please wait for my combined invoice
