Here we have Peter Jay and The Blue Men performing “Just Too Late” and “Friendship” on an original 7” 45 Triumph RGM 1000.
It cost me a small fortune.
This is the first of the vanishingly RARE issues on Joe Meek’s own short-lived Triumph label.
It pre-dates Peter Jay’s hits (like “Can Can 62”) on Decca.
Using the “Record Collector” guide, I’d say that the disc is in very acceptable VG+ condition (see photos).
The sleeve is in slightly less delightful condition (see photos).
There are some very light marks on the disc, (mostly from storage over the last 59 years) but they don’t give any grief to the ear’ole on my (very good) gear, and the disc is cut LOUD enough to render the marks well ignorable.
It plays better than the one seen playing on YouTube.
I reckon it’s IN GOOD COLLECTABLE CONDITION, and PLAYS VERY WELL.

I’m selling many of these discs FOR LESS THAN THEY COST ME.
If you buy more than one record off me, I will REDUCE THE POSTAGE ACCORDINGLY, so the more you buy.. the cheaper they become!
