Description
Extremely RARE is this RHYTHM Records production by the legendary J.D. Miller(Jamil Music) of Crowley, LA.
I think it is from 1967. It is record RHYTHM Records 100 and the Dead Wax numbers are LH-2819 and LH-2820(see pics 5 & 6). Vocals by Ricky Simon. My research has shown me that this group was based in West Monroe, LA and that it appears, according to Monola.net, that this particular RHYTHM Records label (there are more that one that has called itself RHYTHM Records over the years) to have made only two records, i.e. 100 & 101.
I am only an record amateur guy so I surely won't try to grade the record or the label so I included natural window-light pictures(see pics 3 & 4) to see if that would help. Pics 1 &2 are taken with a flash from directly above. I played both sides through(I did not find any sticking) on my common record player with my common needle through my common speakers. The sound has very little snap or pop but there is some background static noise.
