JOHN COUGAR MELLENCAMP BIG DADDY

FORMAT: RIAA GOLD SALES AWARD
COMMENTS: This is an authentic 17" x 21" GOLD RIAA CERTIFIED SALES AWARD to commemorate the sale of 500,000 copies that was presented to "Believe In Music" (Michigan retail stores). This one was specifically given to store #6. RIAA release date for both gold and platinum was 7/10/1989. It has a black frame with a sawtooth hanger. It is double matted with black over blue. The plexiglass front has two small scuffs that can be seen with angled light. It has a label on the back for Creative Glassics who was under license from the RIAA to manufacture the award. The black backing has some water stains that did not cause any damage other than its appearance. The award is fully intact with no other damage of note. Please see the photos for grading details.
