This is a copy of Richard Hell’s single on Stiff Records, released in 1976 in a picture sleeve. This is from the first pressing, in 1976 - which was limited to 5000 numbered copies.  The subsequent edition in 1977 was unlimited and not numbered.  This copy is numbered  2886 on back cover.


This single is part of a large private collection belonging to a friend; an avid collector who bought the items new in the 1970s/80s and 90s.  They are all original, cared for and mostly in excellent condition.  The Jam singles have all been kept in PVC sleeves from new.

The records are graded visually, using the Record Collector grading system (see below). Where applicable, the sleeve is graded first, followed by the vinyl.

Record Collector Grading System:


MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.


EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.


VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
