Description

Up for auction is a very nice copy of the Richard Hell & The Voidoids classic punk album "Blank Generation" released on Sire Records in 1977.  This is a guaranteed original first pressing, not a cheap reissue or import.  Includes the original and rare picture inner sleeve with lyrics.
Cover is in very nice condition.  Front graphics are clean and bright.  Corners are sharp, not bumped.  Seams are strong and intact, no splits or cracks.  Has a very small amount of ring wear at the top and bottom middle, but it doesn't really detract from the overall attractiveness of the cover.  Back cover is also clean, with again only a very small amount of ring wear at the top and bottom middle (see photos).  Aside from that, the cover looks super clean.  I'd grade this cover Near Mint Minus (NM-).
The vinyl is in great condition.  Retains its original high gloss shine.  No obvious scratches or scuffs.  Very clean.  I've play tested this record, and its sounds great, very clean and clear.  I doubt it's been played more than a couple times.  Very well preserved.  The labels are clean and bright, no marks around the spindle hole, indicating very little previous handling or play.  I'd grade this record to be in Near Mint (NM) condition.
