TITLE/ARTIST: This very early Ricky Nelson LP (his very 1st release for Imperial Records), is on the original Imperial Label and is entitled simply "Ricky" from 1957---and is in original MONO as you would expect. The beautifully conditioned and very rare album features 12 classic songs done only as this phenomenally popular 1950-60's heartthrob could do them, including his smash hits, "Be-Bop Baby", and Have I Told You Lately". In my opinion, the condition of both the jacket and vinyl is outstanding, but please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge for yourself; LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original Imperial Label, LP 9048, is in mono, and is in truly excellent condition. I see only a few light spindle marks around the center hole leading me to believe the album wasn't played very mush at all; VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice---about as close to perfect as you can get, and still be a used album. I really see nothing negative about the vinyl to report on at all----in my opinion it is close to "like new" in condition; JACKET INFO: Likewise, this jacket is also in extremely nice condition. There are two small seam splits, one (3") along the very bottom seam and another (1") in the very top corner seam, To me these splits seem very minor in the whole scheme of things. Other than what I've mentioned, this jacket looks about as nice as the day it was 1st purchased--the front side looks nearly perfect. But, please check out the pictures below and judge for yourself. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these original '50's LPs very much anymore, and almost never in this kind of outstanding condition, so please have at it. In addition, I have also listed other LP's and 45's/EP's by artists from the 50-60's in this week's auctions as well---like The Clovers, Dion and The Belmonts, The Beatles, Johnny Preston, Lee Allen, Duane Eddy and others. I am slowly selling off my very treasured personal collection, and there are many LPs and 45's/EP's to get to yet.
