Description

Absolutely beautiful original 1980 copy of Skaggs and Rice, on Sugar Hill LP SH-3711. Tony Rice playing mostly straight old-time backup here for a mandolin/guitar brother-style duet album, sort of like the Blue Sky Boys, Monroe Brothers, Louvin Brothers, etc. and Ricky Skaggs playing some beautiful classic Bill Monroe style mandolin. This is a masterpiece and one of Tony Rice's great moments. Recorded right before Ricky Skaggs sold out and became a hot-new country star, at which point all these early records were taken off the market. Anyhow this copy is just beautiful. The disc looks perfect and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. The cover has a cutout corner at the upper right, and a little creasing at the lower right. Just a touch of general shelfwear otherwise. It still really looks lovely. This is a great original copy.
