RINGO STARR "Beaucoups Of Blues" 1970 UK APPLE 1st MINT BEAUTIFUL UNPLAYED COPY, FULLY LAMINATED G&L GATEFOLD
RINGO STARR
Beaucoups Of Blues

ORIGINAL UK APPLE RECORDS (PAS 10002) FIRST PRESSING (25th September 1970) OF RINGO STARR'S SECOND SOLO LP "Beaucoups Of Blues"

Recording took just two days on the 30th of June and the 1st of July 1970 in Nashville at the Music City Recorders Studio. The sessions were engineered by Scotty Moore with backing vocals from the legendary Jordanaires and the result is pure Country and Western (which actually suits Ringo's natural voice perfectly)

THIS COPY IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION AND HAS POSSIBLY NEVER BEEN PLAYED
THE APPLE LABELS ARE CLEAN AND BRIGHT WITH NO SPINDLE TRACES, THE VINYL DELIVERS FLAWLESS, CRYSTAL CLEAR, WARM AND CLEAN AUDIO THROUGHOUT AND THE FULLY LAMINATED G&L GATEFOLD COVER IS SHARP, CRISP AND FRESH - THIS REALLY IS A BEAUTIFUL COPY AND ONE PRETTY HARD TO BEAT

THE RECORD IS PRESSED ON QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL WITH THE DARK GREEN APPLE LABELS
FIRST PRESS CORRECTED MATRIX NUMBERS: YEX 799 - 1U (PAS 10002 A-1U crossed out) / YEX 800 - 1U (PAS 10002 B-1U crossed out)
MOTHERS/STAMPERS: 1/RR and 1/RG
AND IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FULLY LAMINATED AND DEEPLY, DEEPLY GLOSSY GATEFOLD SLEEVE "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd."

SUPERB UK FIRST (AND ONLY?) PRESSING OF RINGO STARR'S COUNTRY & WESTERN ALBUM WHICH SOLD IN VERY, VERY SMALL NUMBERS AND DIDN'T EVEN CHART IN THE UK (IT WAS FINALLY DELETED IN 1975 AND AS FAR AS I AM AWARE NEVER RE-ISSUED ON VINYL)

Track Listing:
Side 1: Beaucoups Of Blues / Love Don't Last Long / Fastest Growing Heartache In The West / Without Her / Woman Of The Night / I'd Be Talking All The Time
Side 2: $15 Draw / Wine, Women And Loud Happy Songs / I Wouldn't Have You Any Other Way / Loser's Lounge / Waiting / Silent Homecoming

LABELS: MINT - CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO wear, NO writing and NO spindle traces - COMPLETELY UNPLAYED, IN MY OPINION
VINYL Visual: The vinyl surfaces retain their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN and are practically UNMARKED (some light sleeve-removal type hairlines only which have NO audio consequence)
VINYL Audio: SUPERB - CRYSTAL CLEAR, RICH AND WARM SOUND. On playback at a LOUD volume there are NO scratches, NO jumps/sticks, NO surface noise and NO clicks/pops. The record plays to the highest possible standard with NO groove-wear and NO distortion and is graded MINT for audio
SLEEVE: The fully laminated gatefold cover is CLEAN, BRIGHT and UNMARKED with CRISP, SHARP edges and a GLASS-LIKE gloss to the surfaces - practically untouched and the gatefold still creaks when opened. There is some very minor evidence of record impression to the back of the sleeve but nothing really - MINT(-)
