Italian pressing, Fonit Goldfinger UST 884 (1980)

The most obscure Rino De Filippi record, certainly the one you never see for sale anywhere. We're in 1980 and this is the peak of Rino De Filippi most complex and mature compositions, including COMPETIZIONE, a superb homage to Bela Bartok, slightly psychedelic and very melancholy mood music, semi classical, with heart breaking piano melody, superb violin solo, amazing harpsichord and soft synth combinations. The whole record is great, featuring some unbelievable experimental, futurustic, but also panoramic, pastoral, dark and classical mood music. Among the others the dark obsessive percussion theme INQUISIZIONE. Rare!
