Hi, I am a private collector selling part of my collection.
I will use visual and audio gratings. I have been a collector for many years and know how disappointing it is to receive a record that has not been properly graded. I hope to be very accurate as regards the audio as well as giving details of any hairlines/scratches on the vinyl. I will use the Record Collector Grading System and supplement this with additional information.  Every record is play tested on my Linn LP12. The record for sale is the very first 1969 'unboxed' Mono of 'Let it Bleed' by The Rolling Stones. The record has the First 'unboxed' Mono labels. The matrix numbers are: Side one: XARL- 9363.P-1A (stamped). The stampers are 1UH Side two: XARL- 9364.P-1A (stamped). The stampers are 1C These are the first variation matrix numbers.
Because this is a very sought after record I want to be very precise in the audio on individual tracks.

Viewed under a ceiling light the record looks great with no deep penetrating marks that would show up in this kind of light. In stronger light some light surface marks can be seen. There is nothing but a few light hairline/handling marks on Side 1 and i can see three surface scratch marks on side 2. Visually I would grade the record VERY GOOD + I play tested the record on my Linn Sondek LP12. Side 1 plays great with some very low surface static/crackle in places along with the odd light 'tic' There are no loud clicks/pops on Side 1 even on the more quiet parts. Side 1 is a very enjoyable listen with very little distraction in the overall sound. All the tracks on Side 1 play great and I would grade the audio as EXCELLENT Side 2 starts off with 'Midnight Rambler' and ' 'You Got  the Silver'. There is a little more surface static/cradle on these two tracks but there are no skips/jumps. The rest of Side 2 plays great and I would grade Side 2 as going from VERY GOOD  to EXCELLENT. Overall I think this is a really fine copy and the winning bidder will not be disappointed.
There are a number of spindle traces on both labels. I grade the labels as VERY GOOD +
This is the first press stickered front laminated cover with the peep-hole on the back and the 'pinched' spine endings.
The front laminated cover with the sticker (see photo) has a few laminate creases and  small scratch type marks, some small corner bumps as well as a record impression where the heavy record has laid for many years. There is no major damage to the front and I would grade it as VERY GOOD + The unlaminated back of the cover shows some light signs/marks of handling but no creasing. Again I would grade the back of the cover as VERY GOOD + The spine is near perfect with all the text clear. (See photos) There is no makers name on the cover. It says 'Sleeve printed in England'
The red inner shows the normal wear (see photos). There are 2 small pin sized holes on the bottom edge. There are no splits or tears. I grade the inner VERY GOOD. The inner shows the uncensored London Bach Choir' (see photo).
The original poster 'designed by Victor Kahn' is NEAR MINT with very little signs of handling. It has never been hung and has no pin holes.
Even though this is not a perfect copy it is still a very enjoyable listen. I own 2 other copies of this album which I would describe as near mint with little or no sign of play yet they do not play with perfect audio. I know it is vinyl but I like to be critical as regards the audio. In my experience there is always a little surface sound on these copies.
