rare German first press vinyl 2LP box set released 1953 on DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT (DGG) mono label (no stereo exists) with large tulips, with ALLE HERSTELLER and catalognumber 18215/16 LPM. Yes, the records have the dates 16.10.53 and 17.10.53 stamped into the trailoff vinyl ... The heavy clothbound box complete with libretto booklet, rare small DGG discography booklet and vinyl all in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - perfect! Best first press copy I have ever seen... you will not find a better copy! Famous reference performance by Fritz Lehmann conducting the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with true audiophile soundquality... see photo.
