Rita Streich (soprano) Sings Immortal Melodies – Performing lyric works by Johann Strauss; Saint-Saëns; Verdi; Arditi; Suppé; Dvorak and Meyerbeer. Accompanied by the RIAS Kammerchor and the Radio-Symphonie-Orchester conducted by Kurt Gaebel – Rare German original very first flat-edge Stereo LP on Deutsche Grammophon Gesselschaft SLPEM 136011 with large Tulip label (Alle Hersteller), Red Stereo Sticker and Stitched Gatefold Cover. Album printed on November 1958 – Cover: VG+ (some slight spine/corner/ring wear, some creases, few light age stain marks) / Record: VG+/VG++ (some few light surface hairline scratches; plays well with some not too disturbing background ticks/clicks and some few repetitive ones; No skips; No repetitions). Some label fading/discoloration.
