Description
This a UK pressing of the hard-to-find Ritchie Valens' E.P. on a tri-centre burgundy label, catalogue number RE1232.
Songs are:
That's My Little Suzie
Ooh, My Head
Bluebirds Over The Mountain
We Belong Together
Matrix numbers: EPMC-40615-1C/EPMC-40616-1C - a first pressing, I believe - and comes in the original laminated sleeve.
Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and fade, but does not overpower the music. However, generally a very good clean record and an enjoyable listening experience. No skips or jumps. My cartridge is an early ‘80s Audio Technica – not the best. I suspect that once this has been cleaned professionally and then played on a high-end cartridge, ideally mono, this will improve.
Minimal wear to centre hole and some spindle marks evident. Label is unmarked. I am not a record dealer and not sure about grading, but to be on the cautions side, this is at least a VG. The sleeve is VG+. Usual ring wear noticeable but no tears, splits, tape, writing. A good shine to the cover.
