Description
My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Winner. Produced with the help of Ian MacKaye of MINOR THREAT. Original first pressings from 1985 were only pressed in France or in the UK. There is no MADE IN USA pressing on the market. But the French and UK pressing were sold in the USA. Again, US pressings from 1985 do not exist. Old eBay prices for this original MADE IN ENGLAND pressing: $75 + $60 + $57 + $54 + $50 + $60 again. You are bidding on the brilliant RITES OF SPRING longplayer from the States. The band rose from the ashes of HC band INSURRECTION in 1984/5, and were the first band to be labelled emotional hardcore (emo), sadly by the time of their follow up release 'All Through A Life' EP in January 1987 the band were no more. Their only LP release features very melodic tracks, crammed-full of ideas. Released on Washington D.C. label ‘Dischord’ records (catalogue number Dischord 16). As you know label mates were the TEEN IDLES, NECROS, SCREAM, GOVERNMENT ISSUE , YOUTH BRIGADE, SOA and so on. Sleeve and printed inner sleeve are a bit used.

Versand / Mailing: alle Platten werden außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
