Road

'S/T'

Natural Resources, USA, 1972

NR 105L

MASSIVELY OVERLOOKED three piece heavy psych power trio formed by former Hendrix bassist Noel Redding with guitarist Rod Richards (ex Rare Earth) and English drummer Les Sampson (later to join Stray Dog). Music is full-on heavy psych with loads of fuzzed out wah-wah guitar playing and long tracks including the superb 'Friends' (with drum solo!), 'I'm Trying', 'Man Dressed In Red' and the ten minute acid rocker 'Road' - very Hendrix inspired. This album was issued on a short lived Motown spin-off label but despite Noel Redding's involvement it sank without trace.

Beautiful MINT copy. You will not find better.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: Natural Resources, USA, 1972

Vinyl: Beautiful unplayed condition. No spindle marks and no signs of use. Grades as shop fresh MINT!

Spine is stiff, square and totally uncrushed. Tiny saw cut lower left. Impossible to find like this after 44 years. Grades as shop fresh MINT!
