ROBERT McCOY LP - Barrel House Blues & Jook Piano - Vulcan 2501 *RARE*
Original issue recorded by Pat Cather of the Vulcan Record Company, Birmingham, Alabama in 1962/63.
The sleeve is G only. It has split on all sides but has been neatly repaired internally. There's some tear damage as well (see photos) which looks like it's due to sellotape removal.
The labels exhibit a few spindle marks and there is some writing on the label of side 2 (see photo). The vinyl though is visually clean and unmarked. It plays with just a little background crackle. So VG++.
A rare record. Pat Cather, who has been in touch with me, tells me this is one of only 400 copies that were pressed.
