I bought a nice collection of Doo-Wop and Soul from a collector in the Lynchburg area.
Alright Northern Soul collectors this record is scarce. 500 copies of this record were release. I have talked to Robert Tanner who still lives in Lynchburg and Dawson Smith who owned Megatone Records also still a Lynchburg resident. Dawson told me the songs were recorded here in Lynchburg at a studio which closed in the early seventies and the songs were pressed in Tennessee. The number is definitely 500 and no more were produced.

This is one of two 45's recorded by Robert Tanner and the Jivers and I have sold them both before. This is "How I Feel' b/w "Tell Me Your Name" on Megatone # MT-111. Jerry Osborne list it in the new Rockin' Records price or $2,000 t0 $2,500.
I am not going to grade this but simply tell you about it and let you listen. The record was not well taken care of and has lots of scuffs and scratches, but it plays a lot better than it looks. I was expecting it to sound a lot worse than it did. It does not skip or stick and the way it sounds on the music clips is how it sounds all the way through. The two music clips are back to back so you get a sample of both songs.
It will fill the hole in your collection and sound pretty good at a Northern Soul night at your club or dance event. If you are not happy return it for a full refund!
