On auction is a LATIN POET/ POP / ROCK release by ROBERTO CARLOS / Self Titled , pressed by CBS RECORDS as a Mono 37475 from 1966. Features a lot of hammond organ sounds familiar to the 60's...pretty cool sounds. The record is in EXCELLENT condition or better and is Robertos seventh release.
ROBERTO CARLOS is a Grammy Award-winning Brazilian singer and composer, who has achieved a great deal of success and recognition in his 50-year career, also known as King of Latin Music or simply The King.
Most of his songs are written in partnership with his friend, also singer and songwriter Erasmo Carlos. Roberto Carlos has sold over 120 million albums around the world. He is considered one of the most influential artists in Brazil during the 1960s, being cited as a source of inspiration by many artists and bands up to the 1980s. His net worth is estimated at US$160 million.
Cover = VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) Thick Cardboard style with no seam splits, no promo holes, light edge and mild corner wear, light ring wear, light signs of frosting to front laminated slick, solid and legible spine, back slicks are in Good shape with writing of the owners name and some marks next to each track...also back shows yellowing and tanning from age.
Vinyl = VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) Heavy Deep Groove Vinyl with light signs of play or paper scuff marks, light hairlines, no scratches that cause any skips or jumps, still has gloss and shine. Orange CBS Brazil Labels are in Very Good shape with mild spindle wear and no writing.
Play Graded = VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) with light background... mostly audible in-between tracks or quite passages.
