GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : composizioni e direzione orchestrale di Roberto Pregadio. Ben 19 tracce su questo album anche se generalmente di breve durata. Si tratta di temi descrittivi ben strutturati che scorrono uno dopo l'altro in maniera piacevole. Tuttavia il maggior interesse di questo album è da ricercarsi sotto l'aspetto collezionistico. Infatti fra il 1968 e il 1969 Pregadio compose le colonne sonore di "Ciccio perdona…io no!" e di "Indovina chi viene a merenda?", un western e un film di guerra del tutto stemperati dalla verve comica di Franco Franchi e Ciccio Ingrassia. Così nel 1970 apparvero per la prima volta alcuni brani da questi due films nella presente sonorizzazione. Le tracce che si riferiscono a "Ciccio perdona..io no!" sono tutte nel secondo lato del disco : b1, b2, b3, b4, b5, b6 e b8. Quattro invece le tracce per "Indovina chi viene a merenda?", a5, a6, b7 e b9. I rimanenti brani riguardano principalmente musiche per un documentario sul circo : a4, a7, a8, a9 e a10.

Notes : all compositions and orchestra Roberto Pregadio. Even 19 tracks although generally of short duration. This is about well structured descriptive themes flowing one after another in a pleasant way. However, the most interest of this album is to be found from the collectible viewpoint. In fact, between 1968 and 1969 Pregadio composed the scores for "Ciccio perdona..io no!" and "Indovina chi viene a merenda?", a western and a war movie through and through softened by the comic verve of Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia. So in 1970 and for the first time some excerpts from these two scores were released in this sound library. The tracks that refer to "Ciccio perdona..io no!" are all on the second side of the disc: b1, b2, b3, b4, b5, b6 and b8. Four tracks instead for "Indovina chi viene a merenda?", a5, a6, b7 and b9. The remaining tracks are mainly the music for a documentary about the circus: a4, a7, a8, a9 and a10.
