HIGHLY OBSCURE singer soongwriter operating in that key folk psych niche occupied by Donovan, Duncan Browne and Al Stewart but with solid backing from a crack team of prog gods - ie most of Focus including Tijs Van Leer and Jan Akkerman. The Focus connection is apparent but not so overwhelming as to smoother Lent's individuality - nice use of flute and some great lead guitar in parts.

Issued on the short lived Nepentha label which was once thought to be a Vertigo spin off company due to the look and feel of the album sleeves (Keef designed this one like most of the Vertigo covers) but was in fact a free standing entity founded by Larry Parnes, late of the Penny Farthing label.

A great album. Very rural, solid of beat and blessed with great arrangements. If it had received any promotion it could've done well.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Superb clean and shiny condition. A few lone spindle marks but otherwise very little signs of use. Tiny scuffs (note NOT scratches) visible under a bright light - primarilly due to sliding in and out of the inner sleeve.  Grades as top Ex

Cover: Minor signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated gatefold cover. Sharp corners (lightly rubbed), no dings, no bends, faint signs of ring wear, no split seams and no creases. Spine is straight, stiff and uncrushed. Displays a little storage wear. Beautiful and impossible to find like this 45 years after release. Grades as Ex
