Description

ROCK CANDY "SAME" (U.S.MGM,) 1970 CVR IS VG++  SOME WEAR..TOP RIGHT CNR JUST STARTING TO SPLIT..RECORD IS VG+  HAS SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES BOTH SIDES...THIS IS ALMOST EX
Obscure Minnesota blues rocker with hard rock intentions in places. Highlights: The funky guitar riffing ‘Poor Man’ is catchy as hell as well as the chorus in ‘We Get A Funky Feeling’. Album opener ‘Cause We Want To Please You’ is a single worthy hard charging commercial hard rocker. ‘Living To Die’ works up a solid beefy blues-tinged lather. I find myself taken in by the harmonys, melodic fuzzed wah-wah guitar, hammond Organ and sloppy bass lines.
