Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly 1st HEAVYWEIGHT pressing  with the 1ST  blue labels- Stored from new this LP has seen possibly a handful of CAREFUL plays only, and remains in pristine condition everywhere.

This  pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age.  We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all like this.

We can see TWO tiny spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There are a few light whisp lines,one light dull hairline on one track line that does not sound and thats it-  nothing else!  No scratches or marks.  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through we heard some light lead in static in the dead grooves ...the whole record plays superb.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE LABELS   MINT-  FLAT MATT LABELS

THE SLEEVE     MINT-  SIMPLY PRISTINE. 

Correct LAMINATED first UK issued earliest sleeve  - with square spine AND POLYDOR STICKER ON THE SLEEVE, BUT IT SHOWS THE ISLAND LOGO ON THE BOTTOM.

PRINTER CREDITS -  ROBOR

 This is in simply incredible condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean. The lamination pulling so tight it creates the 'bowed' effect on the top seam..stunning!

The edges are all super clean with no real traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

No  ringwear - Some very light ring press only which has dulled the laminate slightly, but this is cleanable..

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -superb.

a couple of tiny spider lines on the edge -ONLY!!!.

The lamination goes right to the edge and is quite simply still shining like a mirror!

We cannot add any more than this! ITS AS GOOD AS WE HAVE SEEN WITHOUT DOUBT.

THE INNER SLEEVE   EX+

THICK CARD INNER- WITH CORNER CUT AND THUMB GROOVE- NO SPLITS OR SCISSORING, there is a small white ring wear arc at the bottom of each side.
