This is the rare UK 1st press of An Old Raincoat Won’t Ever Let You Down. This press is complete with the early 1Y/2 / 2Y/1 matrix, the earliest large swirl Vertigo label, superb heavy flat edge vinyl and a wonderful condition matt gatefold sleeve.

The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl is still glossy with just a few very light wispy marks. When played the sound is extremely bold and vibrant. There is some light noise but it is still rich and clear throughout with Excellent clarity and separation. The earliest swirl Vertigo label is in sensational original condition. Clean and bright. The white is sharp, the black is bold and the text completely clear. There is just the slightest spindle wear. 

The matt gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are warm and bright and the image is sharp. The edges are extremely firm with only very slight corner wear. The inside is extremely clean and bright with a tiny spot in the corner. The whole cover feels very solid and the spine is firm with sharp text.
