   ROD STEWART 'GASOLINE ALLEY' VERY FIRST UK PRESS LP WITH THE LARGE 331/3 VERTIGO SPIRAL LABEL AND THE TEXTURED COVER. ONLY THE VERY FIRST FEW COPIES OF THIS LP CAME IN THE TEXTURED COVER MADE BY HOWARD PRINTERS OF SLOUGH AS IT WAS DIFFICULT AND COSTLY TO PRODUCE.   THIS IS A COMPLETE COPY FROM 1970 WITH THE CORRECT VERTIGO SPIRAL INNER AND IS VERY RARE.  THE CATALOGUE NUMBER IS 6360 500 AND THE MATRICES ARE 1Y-1 AND 2Y-1    THIS RECORD IS LISTED IN RECORD COLLECTOR RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDE 
This copy is in EX/VG condition
The textured cover in in EX condition and has no major defects. There is only very light general ageing. The spine writing is still clear and readable.  The vinyl itself is in VG condition, the record has some light marks but plays providing very good sound reproduction with only minor occasional background noise. The record comes with the correct polythene lined spiral inner in very good condition. There are only one or two nicks around the centre cutout.

The record for sale is the one in the picture. 
  I post worldwide and charges are as follows £4.00 for the first disc to the UK. £6.00 for the first disc standard small packet airmail to Europe and £9.00 for the first disc standard small packet airmail to the rest of the world. Additional discs are £1 extra. Double LPs count as two discs. 
I refund payments for any records returned to me but I do not pay the return postage. Payment is required within three days of the end of the auction.
