This is the rare UK 1st press of ‘Gasoline Alley’ by Rod Stewart This press is complete with the earliest 1Y1/2Y1 matrix, the swirl Vertigo label, superb heavy flat edge vinyl and a wonderful condition matt Howard Printers gatefold sleeve.

The record is in Very Good condition. The vinyl is still glossy with just a number of light marks on both sides. When played the sound is extremely bold, vibrant and clear, there is some light noise but is still enjoyable throughout. The swirl Vertigo label is in sensational original condition. Clean and bright. The white is sharp, the black is bold and the text completely clear. There is just the slightest spindle wear. 

The matt gatefold sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The black is bold, the colours are vivid and the image is sharp. The edges are extremely firm and the inside is in sensational extremely clean condition. The whole cover feels very solid and is in rare superb shape.
