Description
Hi my name is Brian and I have been buying and selling through ebay for many years and I am proud of my envious feedback from very satisfied customers. I am not a dealer and this is not a business.
I will always give good honest descriptions along side plenty of accurate photographs so that there are no surprises to the auction winners when receiving their item(s).
I am happy to send some items abroad but they must be fully insured (at the buyers expense).
The utmost care will be taken during packaging using quality materials. I use card stiffeners, bubble wrap and cruciform boxes to ensure safe arrival.
The postage quoted above is NOT correct, it could be more or less,
PLEASE WAIT TO BE INVOICED
Postage will vary depending on final price and destination and I will invoice the buyer ASAP after the auction with an invoice including postage and packaging where appropriate. All items must be insured.
If for some reason you are not happy with the item, you can return it. And as long it arrives back with me in the condition I sent it I will give a full refund. They are all used items so please read the descriptions with care and take a very good look at the pictures.
So, for sale by auction is......
ARTIST.......... ROD STEWART
TITLE............ GASOLINE ALLEY
FORMAT....... 12'' VINYL LP
LABEL........... VERTIGO SPIRAL/SWIRL
YEAR............. 1970
COUNTRY..... UK
DESCRIPTION
SLEEVE.................... Gatefold. TEXTURED and UN-laminated. The textured surfaces look pristine, 'just from the shop' as new. No tears or seem splits. The spine information is clearly readable. The opening edges are sharp. The top edge is very nice, the bottom edge is also very nice with VERY light shelf wear. There NO creases and VERY MINOR corner tip wear. The inside gatefold is smart and sharp, AS NEW. This is the best copy of this sleeve I have ever seen, very tidy indeed, and so very rare to find in this condition. EX+
INNER SLEEVE..... Correct original swirl inner sleeve dated june 1971. No splits, tears or onwanted writing, just the usual glue age discolouration. EX+
VINYL..................... Deep dark shine. Sits nice and flat on the turntable. The playback is strong and loud. The separation and sound stage are excellent. Visually it is in superb condition with almost no hairlines and only 1 small but more obvious mark on either side that DO NOT sound during playback. This looks and sounds superb, very fresh looking and top quality playback. Obviously very well cared for and only played a couple of times with the greatest of care. EX+, EX+.
LABELS................. Really nice with no damage or unwanted writing, there is zero spindle wear and I can't even see any spindle marks, absolutely pristine. MINT, MINT.
All vinyl is played/graded on a high end LINN system including a LINN SONDEK LP12 TURNTABLE.
Please do not hesitate to ask any questions no matter how trivial.
GOOD LUCK BIDDING.
Brian.
