Description
Here's an unknown circa-1965 EmiDisc acetate with a distinct early Kinks influence. The track is titled "Having a Good Time," as printed on the label, though identifying the artist is a little murkier. Roger Bolton's name is handwritten on the label; he was the in-house producer for President Records, known for his work with the Equals and pre-Led Zeppelin Robert Plant. However he may have only produced the track, or it could be an early attempt as an artist in his own right. Evidently, he had played in a Weymouth UK beat group called the Conquerors at one time. The disc is in VG+ condition with some very light scuffs on the play surface. Playback is excellent from start to finish. The audio linked below comes directly from this copy:
