RARE! SIGNED! STUDIO CUT of  "SOMEWHERE THERE'S A LADY" and "WANDA IGUANA" by ROGER MILLER

There is a wonderful story behind this RARE find. These autographed messages were written to Sylvia Farrell from Roger Miller. Sylvia (who passed away last September) was the Head Scrub Nurse for the world renowned Dr. Michael DeBakey. Sylvia worked in Houston Texas as Head Scrub Nurse in the 60s and 70s and took care of Dr. DeBakey's patients from beginning to end. Apparently Sylvia was Roger's Nurse at one time or another.

According to the website: http://www.students.mcneese.edu/rgazaw/Dr_%20Michael%20E_%20DeBakey%20-%20A%20Living%20Legend%20-%20Debaky.htm

"Michael Ellis DeBakey is internationally recognized as a pioneer of modern medicine. An ingenious medical inventor and innovator, a gifted and dedicated teacher, a premier surgeon, and an international medical statesman, Dr. DeBakey is relentlessly pursuing new avenues in which modern technology can be applied to the practice of healing and saving lives."

On the - Somewhere there's a lady - side of the Record in red ink the autograph reads: "Sylvia - I told you, I wanted you to have the first copy of this -- Love ya'   Roger Miller".

On the paper sleeve there is a note from Roger Miller taped to it on Stationary from the "Law Offices of  N. DANN MOSS" 9220 Sunset Boulevard, Suite 306 - Los Angeles, Calif. 90069 - 278-8090. The typed note from Roger Miller reads: "Sylvia - This is the song I wrote when I was at the hospital. For you, Roger Miller."

WONDERFUL FIND FOR A ROGER MILLER COLLECTOR!
