Description
Up for auction is a copy of the debut LP by Roger Nichols & the Small Circle of Friends, issued in 1968 on A&M, cat no SP 4139. The benchmark of the A&M soft-pop sound, this is an original first US pressing in shrinkwrap (though see comments below).
Condition: vinyl seems to be immaculate; I see no feelable marks on the vinyl & only one barely visible light mark. Super-clean labels. Cover has a small punch hole in top left corner, and is in opened shrinkwrap, though there does seem to be some light wear underneath the shrink, so this may not be the original shrink. Either way, the cover is indeed pretty clean; no splits, writing, damage etc. EX all round.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (30+ years) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale.
