'A' lable DEMO on the COLUMBIA RECORDS Lable cat# DB 7869 from 1966
Things were only started to get a bit HEAVY and fuzzed-up around 1966, on the tails of some R'n B and Mod material that had got a little wilder than your basic Beat music. Imaginations were alive and working....and stretching out with a little inspiration here and there!
An example is in the grooves of this early psych monster.
Deep fuzz chords and intense vocals, make for a great single....that sold nothing. A flop it was, until we freakbeat and psych fans set about unearthing the hidden gems long forgotten in the distant misty past!
Roger Young also issued the highly valued and sought 'No Address', but personally I rate this as a musically better record all around.
The vinyl is NM, great sheen - plays & sounds great!
The Lables grade clean EX (small stain on flip at edge of lable)
A lovely copy of a nice, & very rare gem!
