Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Mercury deep groove Stereo vinyl LP SR 60679 - released 1962
NM vinyl shiny and glossy. No play or handling marks. May have been played once or twice prior. Test played on NAD C555 revealed excellent stereo sound with clear presence and depth. Collector's grade. Laminated cover VG + with straight spine and seams. Light shelf and ring wear. Stubs lower spine, upper and lower throat. Lower right corner shows 3" laminate crease but cover unbent. Overall, a great package and an excellent set from this amazing musician with skintight backing.
