COVER CONDITION : VG+ general wear, front still quite nice, some chipping & paper loss at seams, tiny pencil marks rear.

VINYL CONDITION : styrene pressing. side one VG- due to 2 feelable scratches, the worst is 2cm long in the last track on the side / side two VG with 1 feelable scratch. otherwise various surface scuffs but still nice gloss and no other major damages. despite the ugly scratches this plays surprisingly great, well about the grade. even at the worst spots only some non-overpowering ticks, and at best not even much surface noise. clean textured labels.

NOTES : quite rare original 1956 styrene black label (without crown) 1st MONO pressing. roland kirk's debut album on the unlikely r&b dominated label. long considered a grail among jazz collectors, and tough to score in any condition. despite obvious issues with this copy it has a very solid cover and is a great player copy, sounding well about the grade. should be a fully enjoyable copy until a better one comes along.

- i pack very solid using new high quality heavy weight lp mailers with two (or more) new cardboard filler pads. all unsealed lps are shipped out of the cover, and new inner sleeves & polybags will be added when needed. always willing to double box, etc. as requested, at slight extra cost.
