Description
This is the original UK LP by The ROLLING STONES, Self-titled 1st album ROLLING STONES, 1964 mono on the grooved red DECCA label LK 4605
Matrix numbers are:- Side 1:- XARL-6271-1A , Side 2:- XARL-6272-3A
Stamper Codes are:- Side 1:- 2D / CK, Side 2:- 1 / HC
The original 1964 UK MacNeill Press (top and bottom) flipback cover is in EX+ condition. The lovely laminated front of the cover is nice and clean, barely any lamination creasing, a minor miracle!. The back is nice and clean as well, with only mild ageing. The beautiful spine is solid and perfectly readable. Their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits.
The vinyl is visually in EX+ condition, gleaming with all its original shine and lustre
The vinyl plays superbly, EX+++, playing with powerful crisp clean sound. SUPERB SHARP Mono SOUND!, ONLY a hint of light crackle in between some tracks
The label's are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, no unwanted writing, spindle hole shows minimal wear, with some light re-alignment traces around the centre hole each side.
The vinyl is housed in its original UK DECCA polythene lined inner sleeve and in EX condition, a little aged, no seam splits and no unwanted writing.
