Description

After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!

Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This week I'm going through some Rolling Stones records I have. Next week will be all Beatles again.

This auction is for a very rare mono pressing of the Rolling Stones' LP 'Let It Bleed'. This particular copy has the very rare BOXED Decca logo!

In 1969 mono was pretty much a dead audio format. Let It Bleed was the last Rolling Stones LP to be released in both formats and only sold a very small amount before it was deleted from the Decca catalogues. The first run of copies had the older style unboxed Decca logo labels and these are the more easily to find, but it seems that just as the mono press was about to be withdrawn, a small number of copies were produced with the newer boxed Decca logo. These were produced in a much lower quantity and, today, are extremely difficult to find!

Has an original stickered sleeve, but unfortunately no mono custom inner. It has the poster but it's a modern day print and not an original 1969 issue.

The cover is showing your general wear and tear, but overall is holding up nicely. The front is looking nice with a rich colour. There's some dirt buildup on the laminate and some disc impression. There's some light laminate creasing and the edges and down the mouth and there are some little laminate bubbles at the top middle and a couple down the spine. Both the top and bottom seams are holding tightly with just a couple of little laminate creases running through them. There are no splits or tears. The spine has some laminate creases running through it, but is fully legible and is unsplit with no tears. The back is looking a little grubby and has light browning down the mouth edge and has a few light stains on the right with some wear along the top and bottom edges.   Poster : NM

A 2006 reprint of the poster is included. It is not the original. It's pretty much immaculate!   Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : GOOD-

The playing surface has a nice shine but has a lot of scuffing, light marks and surface scratches. There's nothing too severe that I can see, though.

The labels are clean with bright silver text. There's a fair amount of light spindlewear and some light wear around the centrehole..
