Description

This is the original UK LP by The ROLLING STONES, GOATS HEAD SOUP, 1973 Stereo on the yellow ROLLING STONES label COC 59101

The LP comes complete with its original Goats Head Soup picture insert and the other insert with a collage of pictures of the band additional band members and other side, with credits etc


Matrix numbers are:-  Side 1:-    COC 59101 A2,     Side 2:-  COC 59101 B3

Stamper Codes are:-  Side 1:-  D / 31,        Side 2:-  A / 2

Additionally on each side in the dead wax / run off areas is etched 'ROLLING STONES RECORDS'

 

 The original 1973 UK gatefold cover is EX+++ condition. The gatefold matt finished cover is made from thick deluxe card, is lovely and clean on the inside and outside maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colour. Only shows minimal wear, close to MINT-. Their is No unwanted writing. The spine is fully intact, broad and perfectly readable.

 

The vinyl is in EX condition, their is a light mark on side 2, NON SOUNDING,  literally a few other hair lines on side 2 with only one hairline on side 1.


But for these mis-handling light marks, the vinyl would be graded MINT- condition!. 


The vinyl has been barely played!, maintaining all it's original factory fresh gloss and shine


The vinyl plays MINT- !.


The whole album plays beautifully!!, with sublime depth, displaying rich tone and depth!. Superb Stereo quality! an amazing sound, STUNNING!

Even "ANGIE" plays quietly, with no crackle !

 

The labels are MINT- condition, lovely and clean, no unwanted writing, no wear to the centre spindle hole.

 

The vinyl is housed in its original white inner sleeve and is in EX+++ condition, their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits.


The Goats Head Soup picture insert is in EX+ condition, nice and clean, no rips, no unwanted writing

The other insert is in MINT- condition, clean and crisp, no rips, no unwanted writing
