THE ROLLING STONES: 19th Nervous Breakdown / As Tears Go By (´66 / orig. German issue with extremely rare "garden" p/s / DECCA DL 25280 / vine-red label with golden printing / the so-called "garden" sleeve is the 3rd p/s variation and by far the rarest one - this p/s was printed in November ´66 after the stocks of "common" picture sleeves had been used up - for unknown reasons the company choose to print a new different sleeve for this release / as the record had been a hit during the summer of ´66, sales were extremely poor for this "reissue" and it was dropped from the Decca catalogue after a short period of time, around January or February 1967 / an estimated number of only 300 to 500 of these sleeves have been made, it´s one of the prime collectables for German Stones´ collectors / this p/s was heavily counterfeited in the 70´s and 80´s, here is one of the few original picture sleeves!)

DESCRIPTION:

tiny writing on the left top corner of the front p/s (the writing is barely visible!) / "R" stamp on the frontside (on Jagger´s jacket / almost every p/s has got this "R" stamp - if you´ll ever see a copy without "R" stamp, it´s almost certainly a counterfeit!) / the sleeve corners and the top opening are very slightly bended / otherwise the p/s is in superb condition without ringwear / the vinyl has slight surface scratches (the vinyl is in somewhat lesser condition than the picture sleeve - but please be aware of the fact, that anyway the value of the vinyl is just a fraction compared to the value of the p/s!) / the labels are clean
