Description

Let's be 100% upfront about this.. this LP is far from Mint. But it IS the most rare item in the Stones canon: the 1A/1A edition of their 1st LP, cat# LK4605, Matrix XARL 6271-1A/6272-1A. You should think of it as an historic artefact rather than a playable LP.  Although actually it plays quite well except for track 3, side 1, "HONEST I DO". While this plays through on my Fidelity-style record player (though not without noise) it will not play through without jumps on a better deck. If you study the picture below you will see that the vinyl here looks as though it has been rubbed hard over this track and my guess is that someone ahs attempted to 'fix' a scratch on this track. Would have done better to have left it alone, but there we are - it's done and must be pointed out. The cover is, as you can see from the pix below in a condition some would care 'fair', others 'poor'. It is rather brittle toward the right-hand edge and has damage visible in the pix below. Please study the pix. Please bear in mind this LP is rated at between £600 and £1,000 in the 2010 Rare Record Collector's Guide.
