Description
On auctIon here is a rare album by the Rolling Stones entitled aftermath with some great songs on the album.What is more is that it is in really nice condition.The sleeve is fragile and normally badly damaged and the record badly marked or scratched but not this one.Just have a look at the photographs.Earliest non-shadow pressing according to the Stones Decca website.
SLEEVE I would grade as EX+This sleeve as you know is not laminated so very prone to wear but this is in nice condition with unworn edges even the slleve edge is not feathered and the spine is fully readable.The rear shows just light signs of wear just a hint of ringwear on the front . .There are no names or writing on the sleeve.There are no tears or sellotape.
LABELS Both sides EX+ just a few spindle marks. no names or writing.Matrices are detailed above.I have researched the label.This is Design 4 Version 1The label is ridged,the second catalog number appears on the label,NCB and BIEM are in stacked boxes rather than side by side and MCPS and Mirage Music beneath not in boxes.Matrix number without curly brackets.KT printed above.This in my opinion is the earliest non-shadow pressing as confirmed above.
DISC Side 1 EX+There is a scuff mark between track 5 and 6 but it does not sound and and the odd very faint line when held up to a bright light non sounding otherwise perfect.Side 2 EX+There is a faint mark non sounding between track 1 and 2 .I could not find anything else. .The record has been cleaned by a special machine called a loricraft audio PRC-3.No sticking.No warping.Plays through very well with only minimal background noise but in reality only between tracks.It plays NM in my opinion vibrant sound. PLEASE SEE BELOW ABOUT SENDING ABROAD IMPORTANT.As usual a low bidding start.£5
I am offering FREE POSTAGE in the U.K but due to a big increase in postage recently will now in many cases have to send 2nd class signed for unless buyers want to pay first class signed or special delivery.The record will be separated from the sleeve and protected with shrink wrap or a plastic outer cover with.stiffeners. .At present I am reluctant to post overseas except R O I This is because postal services overseas are not reliable maybe due to pandemic.Due to current situation cannot send to Russia Ukraine or Belarus.
