So what's the BIG DEAL?
Well, the labels are transitional and while the side 1 label is not uncommon, the label on side 2 has NEVER BEEN CATALOGUED before on either Discogs or Stones On Decca, the ultimate Stones vinyl collectors' website. I have been in touch with the gentleman who runs the site and he has confirmed that this label has never before surfaced. See pics for details.
You may literally never see another copy like this!
The vinyl has a visible warp, but this does not affect play. Vinyl has only very light surface scratches. Plays really well, bright and breezy, only some light occasional crackle and a couple of light clicks on side 2.
Labels look great, some spindle marks.
Sleeve is in decent shape. Some tape residue - see photos for details. Some wear as to be expected. Original Decca inner with some light creases and give to edges.
Don't let this one get away - a highly collectable copy of a classic album.
More Stones, Floyd, Beatles, Doors, Nirvana first press lps in my other items. Pretty much every Stones Decca first press either up now or in the coming week.
Follow my vinyl, books and vintage watches on Instagram as mrmicawber.
Good luck!
