This is for: ROLLING STONES, BEGGAR'S BANQUET original MONO UK pressing on red DECCA unboxed label, LK 4955. What to say more about this universal masterspiece? Probably the best Stones' ever album. Keith, due to the enduring lack of mr. Jones' steady partnership on guitars, started to test his skill to play new patterns of rithm/solo guitar, the Hendrix way, slowed the tempos and moved to "open chords". You'll fully listen the results during the fantastic US '69 tour, with the newcomer young Mick Taylor. Don't need to say about the songs... This is the very rare and collectable MONO version that gives you the Stones' full presence.
Grading:
Record: Strong VG+, a few hairlines and a tiny mark that doesn't affect playback. Shiny playing surface, even though there are some very soft click here and there, but nothing appalling and distracting from the music. Labels are clean, with some spider marks.
Cover: Strong VG/VG+, just some (usual) yellowing and some moderate wear to spine. On the whole, a real nice and rare record that deserves your attention. No reserve. Increasingly hard to find in nice nick, this is a real must for any serious collector. Don't miss it and good listening!
